Reefer Containers - For Your Electric Cold Storage Needs

REST Rentals offers affordable and convenient cold storage containers (also known as reefers) for rental.

• Reefer containers supplied by REST Rentals are 20 or 40 feet in length.

• All containers have swing out rear doors and can be set on concrete or a parking area for easy loading and unloading.

• Temperature capabilities range from -20° to 87° F.

• An electric hookup cord is supplied with each container. Please see power requirements below.

We offer delivery and pickup of containers utilizing independent operators who can deliver or pick up equipment according to the schedule of the customer. We deliver containers on a roll-off 40′ trailers. We’ll set the container on the ground at your site! We recommend containers be set on concrete, but asphalt will suffice as needs dictate.

Power Requirements

Please review the following electrical requirements prior to the container delivery. If you have any questions or concerns, have your electrician contact us at 972-262-7378.

• Reefer containers run on 460 volt 3-phase power on a 30 amp circuit breaker available via an unfused electrical disconnect switch (see picture in gallery below) on the exterior of the building within 20 ft of where you plan to land the container.

• If only 208V 3-phase or 230V 3-phase is available, we can work with that, but we must know ahead of time so we can bring the proper transformers. (With 208V or 230V 3-phase, the circuit would need to be on a 60 amp breaker, and with 460V 3-phase, the circuit would need to be on a 30 amp circuit breaker).

• Do not arc weld on any components of the container or to any metal or conductive material on which the container is sitting. The electronic circuits of the unit’s microprocessor control system are very sensitive.
